Avery Simundsson grew up in a mixed farming operation north of Winnipeg and obtain a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba. She has participated in research exchanges to Mexico and Germany where she worked on projects in the biomedical and controller design, respectively. She has experience working in the off fields of forestry, manufacturing, agricultural research, and technology. She is currently completing a Master's Degree focused on the use of auditory information in the control of autonomous farm vehicles. Avery is a Project Manager at Norma Consulting and loves traveling, hiking, and helping out on the family farm.

This extremely passionate technology builder is a 2013 graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science who has been working at iQmetrix as a Software Developer since November 2013. Through her role as the Winnipeg Canada Learning Code Chapter Lead, since December 2015, she extends her drive for professional development and life-long learning by creating opportunities for women and youth to learn and also become passionate builders, not just consumers of technology.

Jessica is passionate about human evolution and how technology can support us in becoming self-aware. She graduated in 2012 with a Computer Science major and excitedly transitioned into the workforce. Before long, she found herself stressed, anxious, and physically aching and decided to question what her career might be doing to her health and well being. She went in the exploration of peace, relaxation, and self-fulfillment and found her new love, coaching. Now she is excited to share her lessons with women in the workplace to offer support in feeling in control, relaxed, and executing at the top of their game. Jessica believes that you can truly create the life you want to live and your relationship with technology will make or break you.
