February 2017 - ICT West: taking Canadian tech worldwide

ICT West is right in the swing of it. ICTAM’s flagship project recently came back from CES 2017, the premiere consumer electronics tradeshow for people in the industry, and is zooming off to Mobile World Congress at the end of the month.

CES – Manitoban firms take Vegas

At CES, the group coordinated presence and provided tactical and practical support for 26 companies from western Canada, including three from Manitoba: Komodo Technologies (who makes the world’s first wearable, smart compression sleeve), Librestream Technologies (who makes Onsight, a mobile smart camera and attendant applications for field workers in various industries), and 6P Marketing (a collaborative marketing agency in Winnipeg).

Mobile World Congress – Join ICT West; represent Canada

Mobile World Congress is a premiere destination for stakeholders in tech industries around the globe. This year’s MWC is February 27 to March 2.

Last year saw the largest attendance in the conference’s history. More than 2,200 companies turned up to show off, network, research, identify sales leads and introduce products to market. This year, show organizers expect more than 93,000 attendees and around 2,000 exhibitors.

The lively event gives attendees great opportunities to meet movers, shakers and titans of industry, as well as to have their product and service offerings presented on the same playing field as those of established and prestigious brands.

Becoming a delegate means you qualify for benefits like a shared home base, introductions to trade commissioners from countries around the world, digital promotion, free show passes, private networking events and being part of a respected national brand.
