That commonly held belief is a misconception NetSet Communications founder and CEO Charlie Clark – Brandon Chamber of Commerce’s Business Person of the Year – saw through years ago.

NetSet Communications, also the 2016/17 Manitoba Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Medium Business of the Year, started as Inet Link. Twelve years ago, knowing it was the only way to provide faster, more reliable Internet, Clark decided to buy up all the Manitoba air (technical word: spectrum) outside Winnipeg.

October 2016 - ICTAM hosts Canadian Scale-Up Program for promising tech firms

On September 7, 2016, ICTAM hosted the Lazaridis Institute on their Winnipeg stop of a cross-Canada tour promoting their Scale-Up Program for Canadian tech companies.

The Scale-Up Program helps entrepreneurs take their Canadian tech businesses to the next level. Through an application process, the Program assembles a cohort of 10 promising tech companies that are in the process of scaling, and gives them the opportunity to work closely with world-class business leaders who have themselves gone through the scale-up process.
